Have we quietly stopped pretending we can do everything alone?

Walking through the student center the other day, I overheard three people casually talk about hiring help for essays, and none of them sounded guilty or worried someone might judge them. A year ago this would’ve been taboo. Maybe the nonstop deadlines, the escalating expectations, and the burnout stats we keep getting shoved at us finally broke the illusion that students are superhuman. I’m wondering if anyone else has watched this shift unfold in real time.
