The Beautiful Madness of Sudoku: My Ongoing Love-Hate Relationship with a 9x9 Grid
1 day ago by Raymond Martin
I can’t remember exactly when I started playing Sudoku, but I do remember how it felt. You know that moment when you stumble upon something that looks simple—almost insultingly simple—but then it humbles you in ways you didn’t think a puzzle could? That’s what Sudoku did to me.
At first glance, it’s just numbers. Nine rows, nine columns, a neat little grid. “How hard could this be?” I thought.
And then, five minutes later, I was staring at the screen, eyes twitching, questioning not only my logic but possibly my entire education.
Yet here I am years later, still playing it. Still hooked. Still humbled.
