Are AI assistants actually useful for interview preparation?
8 hours ago by Andy Collins
Hi everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about how AI tools are being used beyond coding lately, especially in areas like career prep and interviews.
I recently came across a tool positioned as an AI interview assistant (for context: tiktok repost remover), which claims to help with mock interviews, question breakdowns, and structured answer guidance for both technical and behavioral interviews.
That got me curious about a few things:
- Have any of you tried AI-driven tools for interview preparation?
- Do you find AI feedback genuinely helpful, or does it tend to be too generic?
- Where do these tools actually add value — structuring answers, identifying weak spots, or just building confidence?
Not trying to promote anything here — just interested in how people are using AI for interview prep workflows and whether it’s becoming a practical alternative to traditional preparation methods.
Would love to hear your experiences or thoughts.
