My experience searching for an alternative to MT4/MT5 for high-quality backtesting
7 hours ago by garoldfilc
For a long time, I used MT4 and MT5 to test trading strategies. At first, the built-in tester seemed sufficient, but over time, I began to notice limitations: inconvenient navigation through history, slow processing of large data sets, and difficulties testing multiple instruments simultaneously. That's when I decided to try MT4/MT5 alternative for backtesting. Specialized software designed specifically for strategy testing was a real revelation for me. These platforms make it much easier to navigate historical data, quickly find relevant market situations, and analyze price action without endlessly scrolling through charts.
