Best Practice for Using Custom Rules with Mlytics Smart Load Balancer?
Hi everyone,
I’m currently working on optimizing traffic distribution for a multi-region web application and exploring Mlytics Smart Load Balancer features in more depth. I noticed the option to create custom rules under the Load Balancer configuration, but the documentation doesn’t go into too much detail on complex use cases.
Specifically, I’d like to set up a rule where:
Users from Southeast Asia are routed to a primary edge node in Singapore,
But if the Singapore node response time exceeds a certain threshold (say 300ms), traffic should automatically be routed to Tokyo.
Is this type of conditional logic currently supported in Mlytics? If so, is there an example or a recommended way to define such a fallback within the custom rule logic?
Also, any tips on monitoring performance metrics per region in real-time within the dashboard would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
